Integration with Google Earth™
Lasserdata.com has complete integration with the Google Earth™ (Free) mapping system.
On your search results screen just select Google Earth™ as your download option.
Google Earth™ is an incredible accomplishment.  "Google Earth lets you fly anywhere on Earth to view satellite imagery, maps, terrain, 3D buildings and even explore galaxies in the Sky. You can explore rich geographicalal content, save your toured places and share with others."
Once you download and install Google Earth™, we recommend the following tutorials:
Once you download and install Googel Earth™, you will need to download Lasser_PLSS.kmz
This file will enable you to view the Public Land Survey System (sections, townships, ranges and Texas abstracts) in Google Earth™.  In the download process, select the option to "open with" Google Earth™.  This will load "Lasser PLSS" into your "Temporary Places" in the left navigation window in Google Earth™.  Right click on "Lasser PLSS" and then click "Save to My Places".
In order to view PLSS townships (six mile squares) in Google Earth™ you will need to zoom in below county level.
In order to view PLSS sections (one mile squares) in Google Earth™ you will need to zoom in below township level.
In order to view PLSS quarters (one quarter mile squares) in Google Earth™ you will need to zoom in below section level.
We are in the process of adding Texas abstracts.  We expect to complete this process by October 1st.
